La educación es una de las herramientas más poderosas para cambiar el mundo, y en Somos Gos creemos firmemente que sembrar conciencia desde pequeños es clave para construir un futuro más respetuoso con los animales.

Visita al colegio Lope de Vega en Benidorm

Esta vez, tuvimos el placer de ser invitados al colegio Lope de Vega en Benidorm, a las clases de Elisabet y Ana, de 4ºA y 4ºB. Fue una jornada muy especial, llena de emoción, nervios y alegría, tanto para los niños como para tres de nuestros perros, que vivían por primera vez una experiencia así.

El comportamiento de todos fue ejemplar. Los niños mostraron una sensibilidad, una curiosidad y un respeto que nos llenaron el corazón. Escuchar sus preguntas, ver cómo interactuaban con los perros, y percibir ese brillo en los ojos al comprender la importancia del bienestar animal, es para nosotros la mayor recompensa.

Porque, aunque cada día lidiamos con casos muy duros —animales maltratados, abandonados, situaciones límite—, este tipo de encuentros nos recuerda por qué hacemos lo que hacemos. Nos da aliento. Nos carga de energía. Nos conecta con la esperanza de que las nuevas generaciones vienen pisando fuerte, con ideas claras y muchas ganas de cambiar las cosas.

Gracias de corazón al colegio Lope de Vega por abrirnos sus puertas, y a las profes Elisabet y Ana por confiar en nuestra labor. ¡Nos llevamos un recuerdo imborrable!

Back in the classrooms: visit to Lope de Vega School in Benidorm

Education is one of the most powerful tools to change the world, and at Somos Gos, we firmly believe that raising awareness from a young age is key to building a future with more respect for animals.

This time, we had the pleasure of being invited to Lope de Vega School in Benidorm, to the classes of Elisabet and Ana, 4th grade A and B. It was a very special day, full of excitement, nerves, and joy—for the children, and for three of our dogs who were experiencing something like this for the first time.

Everyone’s behavior was exceptional. The children showed a level of sensitivity, curiosity, and respect that truly touched our hearts. Hearing their questions, seeing how they interacted with the dogs, and noticing the spark in their eyes as they understood the importance of animal welfare—that is the greatest reward for us.

Because although we deal every day with extremely tough cases—abused animals, abandonment, heartbreaking situations—these encounters remind us why we do what we do. They give us strength. They recharge us. They connect us to the hope that the next generations are coming with clear ideas and a real desire to make things better.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Lope de Vega School for opening its doors to us, and to teachers Elisabet and Ana for trusting our work. We’ll always remember this visit with a smile!
